A small team in Berlin, extended project by project with senior specialists. We have no open roles list. What we most often need doing is forward deployed engineering: building AI and ML systems inside a client stack, next to the people who will run them afterwards.
How we staff
A small core team does the work and brings in specialists for the parts that need them. Collaboration is project-based: a defined piece of work, a defined scope, paid. We are remote-first and based in Berlin, so time zones close to CET make the day easier, and we see people in person when a project benefits from it.
Who we look for
Forward deployed engineers first. You work inside a client codebase and under their constraints, you ship into their production systems, and you can defend the approach to their engineers and to their board in the same week. The core skill is AI and ML engineering: taking a model from a notebook to something that runs, with the evaluation, data pipelines and LLM or agent work that this needs around it. We also take on product and interface designers, and strategy people who can write. What counts is that you have shipped something and can talk about the parts that did not work.

What we do not do
No unpaid trial tasks, and no agency roster you sit on for a year without a project. If we take you on, it is for work that exists.
